Nigel Crisp, a prominent leader and advocate of public health from the UK, will be giving a Regents’ Lecture on global health at UC Berkeley onFebruary 19, 2014. He is a member of the House of Lords, was previously Chief Executive of the National Health Service and a former Permanent Secretary of the UK Department of Health.
An expert in global health and international development issues, he co-founded the Zambia UK Health Workforce Alliance and chairs Sightsavers International.
