The CGPH Annual Symposium, “The Future of Global Healthy Food: From Science to Policy”, took place on October 18, 2013. Photos and video clips from the event are available.
The keynote speaker was the notable author of “Food Politics”, “What to Eat”, and the new “Eat, Drink, Vote”, Dr. Marion Nestle. The day also included dynamic presentations and discussion with Dr. Mark Manary, a prominent researcher in microbiomes and malnutrition; Daphne Miller, author of “The Jungle Effect: The Healthiest Diets from Around the World”; and Dr. Stefano Bertozzi, the new Dean of the Berkeley School of Public Health and former director of HIV/AIDS and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
